When it comes to outdoor fun and adventure, Central MA boasts some of the best playgrounds and parks that will keep kids entertained for hours. From swings and slides to climbing walls and water features, these local parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, provide great opportunities to meet old friends and make new ones, and best of all, they're FREE!

I often get asked about our favorite playgrounds, so I thought I'd share my family's top playgrounds and parks in Auburn and Beyond with you.

Treasureland Playground

What we love about Treasureland Playground:

My daughter has always loved visiting Treasureland Playground in Oxford.  As a mom, I love that its enclosed and that there's play structures for all ages.

Purgatory Chasm State Reservation

198 Purgatory Road

Sutton

What we love about Purgatory Chasm State Reservation: 

Our whole family loves a trip to Purgatory Chasm State Reservation in Sutton.  Trails, breath-taking rock formations, playground, dog friendly, and down the road from West End Creamery! The playground features a large play structure - my daughter loves the rolling log.

  • Ample Parking

  • Picnic Tables
  • Grills

FYI: There is a daily parking fee charged May 11 through October 26 - MA resident  $5 / Non-MA resident  $20




Lemansky Park - Rocketland Playground

What we love about Rocketland: We love that kiddos of all ages can play here!
